Straight-cut jacket in burnished red leather, finished with a full row of gold-tone hook-and-eye closures that gives the front an almost corset-like construction. The body is built from finely stitched panels of distressed leather set over elastic mesh; the leather separates slightly in places as the jacket moves, revealing glimpses of the mesh underneath. This construction gives the piece a subtle stretch and makes it unexpectedly comfortable to wear despite its structured look. Aaliyah wore a Similar black version & same on the runway of Spring 2001.
