An ultra rare piece from the Plein Sud Sun Spring/Summer 1999 campaign. This architectural gown is cut on the bias in a stunning spiral panel construction that hugs and elongates the silhouette. Crafted from delicate silk chiffon in a desert-inspired Dune palette, with earthy shades of sand, olive, smoke and cream blending into each other like layers of wind-sculpted landscapes. The inner layer is fully lined in luxe cream silk satin for a fluid, sensual drape. Beautiful ruched bust detail, and that insane hourglass effect thanks to the sheer inserts and curved seamwork — the back view is breathtaking.
