Plein Sud 1991 iconic mermaid dress - documented

The definitive mermaid party dress straight from Faycal Amor's documented S/S 1991 "Aquagirl" collection. Plein Sud constructed this mini entirely from iridescent pale gold sequins on a knit base, shifting between champagne, blush and mint depending on the light, with a built-in structured mint satin underwire bustier that frames the décolleté and adjusts via button closures on the straps. Body-skimming and fully lined, it fits like a second skin with just enough give to move.
