One of a kind, literally. Made by hand in France, this powder pink silk charmeuse slip was never produced in series, never duplicated. Calais lace appliqués trail the side seam and finish at a wide scalloped hem, the bust edged in the same lace with three delicate braided straps. The cut is not a true bias but sits close to the body in a quietly flattering way, equally at ease as a night dress or worn out into the world. The kind of piece a very feminine Parisienne had made for herself, wore once to something wonderful, and kept. Reminds me of the YSL by Vaccarello worn by Zoë Kravitz at the Golden Globes.
