Emanuel Ungaro by Peter Dundas Spring Summer 2007 silk evening gown, cut in fluid 100% silk with a fully boned internal corset that snatches the waist and offers strong, structured support to the bust. The bodice is hand pleated with soft ruching, finished with twisted silk straps, a back zipper closure, and a sharply pointed back panel extending over the hips for an ultra flattering, sculptural silhouette. Extremely long and dramatic, the skirt features a central fabric opening that allows movement and reveals an impressive train, giving the piece a powerful Greek goddess, almost Athena-like presence, made for red carpet moments and statement level events, with a closely related version documented on the Spring Summer 2007 runway worn by Raquel Zimmermann.
Era : 2000's
Condition : 9/10 (The gown is in exceptional vintage condition, previously worn, with only two very faint marks on the train that are completely unnoticeable once worn due to the generous volume and flow of silk.)
