Christian Lacroix masterpiece from Fall 1996 crafted from richly textured floral brocade woven with metallic threads in deep gold, rose, and violet tones. Its sculpted silhouette features a dramatic heart-shaped neckline framed by a high split collar, slightly flared sleeves, and a front hem that sits slightly shorter than the back. The sides are detailed with two decorative basque panels that mimic pocket, enhancing the jacket’s hourglass architecture. The front closes with jeweled buttons set in ornate gold frames, each like a miniature brooch. Fully lined and tailored to perfection. Seen on the runway.
