Alessandro Dell’Acqua 2003 Black Pleated Silk Dress

Black silk midi dress with fine vertical pleating and a sheer finish, framed by narrow straps and a straight neckline.  A velvet underbust band defines the silhouette, while a satin ribbon ties at the hip above a fluid, flared skirt with a wide satin hem. Finished with a low scooped back and concealed back zip. A top with the same cut and pleating appeared on the Fall 2003 runway.
